Pluto Hosting performs daily, weekly and monthly backups on all our shared & reseller hosting servers to ensure that important files are not lost. However, Pluto Hosting is not responsible for any lost data due to a faulty or non-existent backups.

The data on our shared & reseller servers are backed up on a separate hard drive on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. We can not ensure 100% recovery, but we will do our best to recover everything we can.

We will backup and restore your account at no additional cost during the lifetime of your account. If you hit our 100,000 soft inodes limit and/or your account is bigger than 20GB in size, then your account will be removed from the backup system. MySQL databases will still be backed up along with the entire MySQL directory.

Due to the nature of VPS servers, Pluto Hosting does not provide any sort of backup solution by default. It is up to you, the client, to maintain proper backups of your own data.

If you choose to enable backups on your VPS, the space the backups take will count towards your total space. Should your VPS fail, be hacked, or otherwise become corrupt, Pluto Hosting will not be held liable for the lack of backups of your data.
